The year was 2005, four kids ended up in a school run rehearsal room, they played until their fingers bled, literally, and thus The Trams were formed. The name is derived from not only the name of a transport found in Sweden's San Francisco, Gothenburg, but it is also the first word the singer spoke in German. In Swedish it's another word for stupidity...
A year and a half went by with the release of Viva la Trams E.P, a couple of shows, and airplay on some college radio stations around Europe. In December their singer left to chase his dream of rolling the high stakes with another band. After a lot of shows and air time on Swedish national radio he left that band remembering how music should be played, with love and fun.
Now The Trams are rolling again with just pure love of music in mind.
